T's Tahiti aka Porter's Story...
T's Tahiti aka Porter is a 4 1/2 year old Shepherd mix available for adoption in Las Vegas. My family adopted me as a puppy, then dumped me at a kill shelter when I was no longer small and cute.
I'm alittle shy at first but warm up very quickly and then bond. I seem good with the dogs I have been introduced to, and was even good with the small dog that broke into my kennel.
T's Tahiti is microchipped and comes with a free vet visit. T's Tahiti will be available for adoption on Saturday & Sunday from 10am-3pm at Petsmart located on 2140 N Rainbow Blvd (Best of the West Shopping Center), cross streets Rainbow & Lake Mead Blvd. Adoption fee applies. You are required to have a collar & leash that fit the dog you are adopting before you can take the dog home with you. If you are interested in T's Tahiti, please contact Naomi at to make sure T's Tahiti will be at adoptions this weekend. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to adoptions. Please make sure you have read the information below before contacting one of our volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

T's Tahiti aka Porter, a Las Vegas Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
