Talullah's Story...
Hi my name is Talullah, but my foster family calls me Lula. I have come soo far since my days as a breeder in a puppymill. No one is really sure of my age, however it is somewhere between 4 and 7. I had a pretty tough start in life and literally was almost bred to death. Since coming into rescue I have learned how to live in a house with other dogs and people and have become very friendly and even learned how to play with toys. I am housebroken and walk beautifully both off and on leash. I arrived in rescue on 6/7/11 after being transferred from a few shelters. I am a special needs dog who has some medical issues. I have a low grade heart murmur, acid reflux and airway disease. All of which is managed with daily medications. You would never know I had any problems when you see me play. I am a very sweet girl who is looking for a very loving, calm and quiet home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Talullah, a Aurora Japanese Chin dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Chin for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Japanese Chin dog from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Chin breeders who help with Japanese Chin rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
