Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Nestle
Age: 4 months (as of march 20)
Breed: Pit mix
Gender: Female
Nestle is a jovial, affectionate dog who is definitely happy for her fresh start in life! Nestle was neglected as a young puppy and kept confined, unable to walk or escape from her own feces. She was severely malnourished and underweight, with a neck injury from a too-small collar, and was suffering from rickets when she came to us. Her front right leg was very misshapen, but thankfully didn't require more intervention than puppy vitamins, a good diet, and exercise. Her leg isn't perfectly straight yet, but it's getting there! (The photo in the grass was taken two and a half weeks after the photo on the bench.) Nestle really likes to play with other dogs, and snuggles up for affection from people, too. She is inquisitive, good-natured, and easy to love. We'll have more photos of Nestle as her leg straightens up and she gains some more weight.
