Bandit's Story...
Bandit and Shadow are siblings. They are 2 and a half years old. They belonged to an elderly woman who is moving into assisted living. They weigh about 57 pounds apiece - but are on diets - they could lose 8-10 pounds. They are friendly, good with all animals and people. Shadow is a little shy and likes to be with his brother - but we think we could separate them. They would love space to run and someone to play with. They have been confined in a small yard and not had the exercise they need. They love to cuddle and will gladly join you in your chair or on your bed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Richfield Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Richfield, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Richfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
