Simon - Foster Needed's Story...
SIMON is such a sweet dog! He is a wonderful Husky/Catahoula mix (he was DNA tested) and is and is 18 months old. I would guess there is some Lab in the mix as well. Simon is an energetic walking companion who does great on a leash. He has so much fun in the shelter yard, where he bounds about happily and loves to play. Simon is housebroken, too. His white coat is beautifully marked with tan patches and speckles, and is perfect for petting! Simon is an affectionate dog who enjoys love and attention. He does well with everyone and also gets along with other dogs. Simon will be such a great family companion! We need to test him with cats. Simon weighs 46 pounds.

To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue,

Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.

Thank you for considering rescue!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simon - Foster Needed, a kennebunkport Husky/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in kennebunkport, or seeking a Husky/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in kennebunkport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in kennebunkport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a kennebunkport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Husky/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in kennebunkport paves the way for another one to be saved.
