Honey's Story...
Meet miss Honey! Honey is an absolutely amazing 6 month old Yorkie/Dachshund mix girl. She is learning about cratetraining & housebreaking and good puppy manners in her foster home. Honey is a love muffin and an amazing snuggler. She also loves to play with toys. Honey would be fine as an only dog, but would also thrive in a home with a doggy companion. She is an all around awesome girl.

Please email us at bonniebluerescue@gmail.com if you are interested in fostering or adopting Honey! Our adoption fee is $300. $75 of the adoption fee is refundable if proof of completion of obedience class is demonstrated within 3 months of adoption. Each of our pups goes to their forever family up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Richmond Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
