Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Screechy is a friendly, loving, playful 6-year-old kitty looking for a forever home. He was dumped at a shelter in rural Virginia with his dog friend. The dog got adopted, but they left poor Screechy behind. He was very sick and nothing but skin and bones. The Howard County Cat Club decided to give this poor boy a chance and took him in. He immediately went to the vet where he was diagnosed with diabetes. He currently receives 1 unit of insulin twice a day and is on an all wet-food diet. We are working toward getting him off insulin and into remission. Even so, he’s at a healthy weight now, his coat is shiny and full, and he has that spark for life in his eye once again.
Screechy is waiting for that special someone to come into his life and take care of him. He would be so grateful if you could open your heart and home to a kitty in need. He promises to love you, snuggle with you, and entertain you every day. He would love to have some access to the outdoors, even if it’s a screened in patio room or some time out in the backyard. Once Screechy gets adopted, we’ll be able to save another cat in need. Screechy’s wish is for a new home and for other kitties to be saved. Won’t you be the one to grant him his wish?
