Foxy's Story...
I came to AWLMC from the Montgomery County Humane Society. I was given up by my previous family because they had a baby and they were moving. I was previously at the county shelter in 2008 where I came in with a litter of kittens and then was adopted. I am a beautiful, petite, medium haired girl with pretty green eyes. I am a super affectionate cat. I give kisses when I am really happy. I love to play, especially with string toys. I love to have my head scratched and to be petted. I have beautiful fur, which needs to be brushed frequently to keep me looking nice. I will curl up and sleep with you at night. I also don’t mind being held. I am ready for my new forever loving home. Come visit me today. I was born in 2007.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foxy, a Gaithersburg Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Gaithersburg, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Gaithersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gaithersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gaithersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gaithersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
