Capt. Jack Sparrow's Story...
Capt. Jack Sparrow

Est. DOB: November 30, 2012
Description: DSH White / Gray Tabby
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Jack is snuggly, very vocal and a bit bossy as in ‘it’s time to feed me now!!’ He loves furry mice and little toys he can toss and pat around and is just fascinated by the laser pointer.

He gets along well with the black labs at his foster home and enjoys playing with his brother. He’s the most active and playful of the two, described as ‘always busy’.

Capt. Jack Sparrow is one of the Pirates of the Caribbean kittens who were born to a stray mom that wandered up at a former Alley Cats and Angels adopters’ house.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Capt. Jack Sparrow, a Apex Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Apex, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
