Sebastian's Story...
Meet Sebastian! Sebastian was found as a stray in rural NC and just made his way north to MD where he is settling into his foster home and we are getting to know him. A taller standing guy, he is currently 16 lbs, but should fill out at 18-19 lbs. So far we have learned that he loves to play, is great with other dogs and even likes cats. He loves to be held and carried around. He doesn’t like to be in a crate but his foster parents are working with him on this. As we learn more, we will update accordingly.

Sebastian is current on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heart worm negative and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

He is approximately 2 years old. If you are are interested in adopting Sebastian, please visit http://picassosplace.org/adopting-a-min-pin to learn more about the adoption process and how to apply.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a Myersville Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Myersville, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Myersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Myersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Myersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Myersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
