Malcolm's Story...

Malcolm is a Jack Russell Terrier that was born Jan 6, 2012 and is very true to his breed.

Malcolm is very active and loves to chase his toys and trees the squirrels in his foster mom's backyard. Malcolm is good with other pets but does carry on when other dogs and cats are outside his fenced in yard which is very typical JRT behavior. Malcolm is used to being crated and is almost house trained...he will consistently go to the back door when he has to go potty but needs to be watched as he usually waits til the last minute. Malcolm loves to go for long walks and does well in the car so if you are looking for a very smart and active little dog Malcolm is the pet for you.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date with age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped and come with a 30 day free health insurance. Please email us for an adoption application. Thank You!

Pixie Animal Rescue is run by volunteers. We do not have a facility, so all of our animals are in foster homes. Please give us time to respond to your email. Thank You!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malcolm, a Brighton Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
