Willow's Story...
Willow is a tiny little thing weighing only 7 lbs and all of it sweet, sweet, sweet! She is a friendly little girl that enjoys being held and loved up on. Poor Willow was a stray that was brought into our animal control so matted up that she could hardly walk. It took days to get all of the knotted hair off of her feet and legs. Amazingly, in spite of the obvious neglect, she is in great spirits and just loves people. She has been spayed and brought up to date on all of her shots and she is ready to find a wonderful home. Willow is 2 years old. She is microchipped and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. She is crate-trained and housebroken and walks well on leash. Willow gets along great with dogs and cats and should do fine with children. If you would like to meet Willow please complete the adoption application at www.cedarfarmrescue.com and call (336) 251-8877 to make an appointment to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Mocksville Shih Tzu/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Maltese for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Maltese dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Maltese breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
