Wilson's Story...
Meet Wilson! This little bundle of joy is filled with love and ready to share it with a family! With his playful attitude and zest for life, Wilson would be the perfect best friend for young children. He loves other animals, and even though he may be small, he can still hold his own with bigger dogs!

Wilson is full-grown 2 years old, but he still has his fun loving puppy moments and he's loaded with typical terrier energy! He wakes up knowing everyday is a blessing - and he is just thankful to be around people that care for him.

This great, little guy is looking for an forever owner who can give him lots of love and attention, every day! If you think you may be the one for him - please let us know! Wilson will not be available for adoption until after Easter, but inquiries are welcome. Please contact his foster mom at for more information.

All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilson, a Baton Rouge Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
