Pedro's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and purebred.

Pedro's Story...
Pedro is a 4 yr Chihuahua who was found wandering as a terrified stray at a very busy shopping center. It is a miracle he was not run over! He is now looking for a Chihuahua experienced owner who understands the needs and temperment of this special breed. Pedro is house trained and crate trained (though doesn't like it much). He is VERY affectionate, not aggressive and is learning how to be a lap dog. Just a little guy, he only weighs 8 lbs.

As HAHS now has several adoption locations, please contact Candy or Mark at 816/916-3685 or lelandsable-hahs@comcast.net to find out when and where you can meet PEDRO!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pedro, a Overland Park Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
