Val's Story...
Val is a Valentine sweetheart as she was rescued on Feb 14! She is a super sweet, pocket size Lab mix girl! She is approximately 8-9 mos old and has a great playful puppy personality. Val was found by a family wandering lost and alone. The nice family had nothing but good things to say about this wonderful girl but were not in a position to keep her. They did report however that she would make a great family dog...she loves kids and sleeps quietly in her kennel at night. She has a very pretty black shiny coat and would be a perfect size girl for a family who likes smaller Labs. Val is anxious to please and would enjoy going to obedience classes with you. She loves her toys but most of all wants to be with her people. Val wants to grow up with people who will love her forever and take good care of her....could you be the one for her?

Val has been vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed. She has received flea and heartworm preventative and has tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Val, a Spring Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Spring, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
