Stevie #279 is a Kelpie mix. This 1-year- old is 22 pounds of business!
This strong and handsome guy has many of the Kelpie characteristics. Crate trained, leash trained, and very smart. He would do well with formal training. Since the breed is not well- known, here little more information about Kelpies from dogbreedinfo.com:
“A compact, robust, enthusiastic and tireless herd dog. Kelpies are devoted one-man dogs but far too work-oriented and energetic for a couch dog or apartment existence. Their easy trainability and keenness on the job make them a fundamental component of the Australian workforce.
