Beemer was adopted out in 2003 to a handicapped woman who was in a wheelchair, but still very mobile. He lived with her until January of 2013, when we received a call from a friend of hers (who had been taking care of Beemer and her other cat, Hallie for seven months) asking if we would take them both as their owner would have to stay at the convalescent home for the rest of her life. So, while Beemer was very upset about being uprooted from his home, he has now settled in quite well and loves the company of his new feline companions. he is a quiet, sweet cat and would do best in a home with at least one other cat.
