My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Duchess and I am a 1.5 year old white with grey cat. I am the mother of a litter from last year’s kitten season. Foster mom says I am a very sweet kitty - not to mention gorgeous! I prefer being the only kitty, but can do okay with other cats, too. I may take a little bit to warm up to you since I was rescued from a dangerous neighborhood. Kitties, like me, are taught to be afraid of humans in this neighborhood. I have warmed up nicely to foster mom and she thinks I am well worth the wait and patience it takes for me to “come out of my shell.” If you are a patient person who is looking for a sweet kitty to share your life with, then I am the kitty for you!

I have been tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, been dewormed and spayed, and I am up to date with all my shots. I require a home where I will never be declawed, or allowed to go outside.
