Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If there was ever an incredibly sweet, loving and beautiful black girl that would be Evie. She is a young girl, about 2 years old and is average in size for a female. Evie came from a very high kill shelter where she found herself after being picked up as a stray. Evie gets along well with her foster siblings as long as they accept that she is the alpha. She is really a little too interested in the kitties though. Evie loves people and is just so sweet and loving to be around. She can become attached to her person very easily. Evie is considered a medium/high energy girl and would benefit greatly with a large fenced in area to play or going for long walks. She walks very nicely on a leash and would make a wonderful walking partner, but LOVES to run loose. Evie is very calm in the house and willing to be crated when necessary although she is fully housetrained and trustworthy in the house. She does not chew or destroy anything when left alone. Evie loves attention and just getting petted on her head makes her totally happy. She would make a great companion for the single person or a family with older children. And, probably would be best as an only dog. Evie is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, and micro-chipped. She is also on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative. She is a truly awesome girl and if you would like to learn more about how Evie would fit into your family, please indicate Evie in the notes section of the online application.
