Woopie's Story...
Woopie and her siblings were rescued from San Antonio Animal Care Services after they had been picked up covered in fleas and scared out of their minds. It did not take long for this cute little family in their foster home before they got healthy and took over the place! They play outside together during the day, seeing who can jump higher and further off the porch, chasing anything that will blow in the wind, and exploring the wilderness around them. Once they're tuckered out from the days' activities, they crash onto their beds and cuddle up for a good nap. They are all doing very well in their crates and are working hard on potty training and are currently accepting applications for their forever home! Don't let one of these cute little family members pass you by!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Woopie, a San Antonio Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
