Kippy's Story...
We have no firm idea of what Kippy's breeds are so we are going with Yellow Lab-Spaniel-Shepherd and you can add one more if you like. Kippy is super sweet, friendly and BEYOND ADORABLE with the reds in her coat and occasional spots !! Her playfulness and friendliness just makes you smile !! A walk outside and she was all over the place saying pet me, love me, aren't I cute? And she is very, very cute. She is about 6 months old and will be medium to large sized when full grown. Right now she is 30-35 pounds. This girl will love playing with older children and should be good with other dogs.

Kippy will be arriving at the START II shelter on Saturday, March 29th. If you are interested in meeting Kippy, please call (201) 797-8861 or email startkayne@gmail.com to schedule an appointment after her arrival date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kippy, a Elmwood Park Labrador Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
