Pablo's Story...
There's no other way to say it -- Pablo is just an awesome kitty. He is outgoing, confident and happy-go-lucky. He is the opposite of Grumpy Cat! In fact, he's more like a puppy than a cat in some ways. He is sweet-natured, loves meeting new people, and asks for affection by giving head butts. He went to a vet appointment and charmed everybody there! Pablo was found on a sidewalk in Dumbo, Brooklyn by a kind woman who just couldn't ignore his meows. He was so determined to hitch a ride that he let her zip him up in her jacket and carry him home. About 7-8 months old, he still shows kitten playfulness and loves to get into a good game of chase or pounce. He is so glad to be back inside where he belongs, soaking up love. Pablo is neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV and up to date on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pablo, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
