Susan's Story...
Susan is a happy puppy who is about 15 weeks old (3/28/2013) She loves attention and she is very friendly. The markings on her face make her especially beautiful and she is very smart. The police in Madison found her and her brother Sam in a ditch along the road and brought them to the shelter. Susan lives in Madison, Mississippi, but transport can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front. If you are interested in taking Susan into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Susan, a Groton Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Groton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
