Sam's Story...
Sam is a very friendly male puppy who is about 15 weeks old(3/28/2013). We think he is mostly German Shepherd. He has a very expressive face, and he should grow up to be quite a handsome dog. He and his sister, Susan, were found in a ditch by the Madison police and brought to the shelter. Both of them like people and are always excited when someone stops to talk to them. Sam lives in Madison, Mississippi, but transport can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front. If you are interested in taking Sam into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Groton German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Groton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
