Raven's Story...
Sometimes when I see things I am like “That is so Raven!” and other times I see things and I am like “That is so NOT Raven!” I want your loving family to be “So Raven!” I would be a-ok with respectful kids, who know how to treat a lady with respect and I get along great with the other dogs here… I would even love to share a new home with one! I have been in a home since I was just 3 months old, so house training should be a non-issue. They are also teaching me crate training here, which is easy peasy if you ask me! I want a special family that will give me loving evermore. Belly rubs, fun play in the yard, even some long walks ..“That would be so Raven!” Is your family Raven?Come meet me in the greeting parlor, and let's find out! 6 years old-45lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raven, a Portland Chow Chow/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Golden Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chow Chow/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Chow Chow/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
