My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chester, an irresistably sweet 1-year-old terrier mix. This adorable boy is happy and playful like a puppy, but is old enough to appreciate calm moments snuggled up with you. He is very smart and eager to please; He is almost completely housetrained and has learned "sit" in his short week in foster care. He is working on walking on a leash, and is making quick progress. He was a bit shy when he was rescued from the shelter, but he is really coming out of his shell. He loves to be with you and will follow you anywhere. He is very friendly and nonthreatening with other dogs, and he wants to play with cats. His favorite game is playing fetch. He is a very sensitive and loyal boy who would love to have a place to call his forever home. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on flea and heartworm preventative. The adoption fee is only $75 and allows us to help more animals.
