Rally's Story...
My name is Rally. I am a neutered, male Beagle mix, about 6 - 8 years old, that came to Tall Tails Beagle Rescue from the Paris Animal Welfare Society in Paris, KY. I am a very sweet boy that will make someone a wonderful new family member. I am hearing impaired and was diagnosed with a Heart Murmur. My heart condition is being treated with an affordable medication, so I seem normal. Please give me a loving home! Here is what the PAWS Shelter had to say about me:

"Meet Rally! He is around 6 yrs old (as of 2/11) and is a Beagle mix. He is adorable and has the sweetest face with big beautiful brown eyes. Those eyes will reel you in and beg for love. He weighs around 30 lbs. He was a stray so we don’t know his history. We quickly discovered that he is very sweet and adores getting attention. Come anywhere near him and the tail starts wagging, and then as you get closer, his tail goes faster and faster. He finds so much joy from being around people. He is calm and well mannered. He did well on his temperament test and is tolerant. He is polite when taking treats and easily lets us take food from him. Rally is a wonderful guy and hopes that you will consider adopting him."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rally, a Freeport Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
