Muppet's Story...
Muppet arrived on 20 March 2013. She was transferred to New Moon Rabbit Rescue from a shelter in Quebec.

Muppet is a beautiful, fluffy and puffy lion head and we know she is going to steal someone’s heart!! She is quite friendly and curious although still a little bit jumpy and would prefer you did make any sudden and loud noises. Muppet is good with her hay and is working on her litter training. She has only just been spayed (28 March 2013) so she will need a bit more time to get it all figured out perfectly.

We will have more updates (and pictures) about Muppet as soon as we get to know her a little better. If you have any questions about Muppet that are not yet answered here, please feel free to email us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Muppet, a North Gower Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in North Gower, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in North Gower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Gower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Gower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Gower paves the way for another one to be saved.
