My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spike was surrendered due to no fault of his own. His previous owners were moving to a rental property were pets were not permitted. The children were sad to lose little Spike. This little guy has made friends with a Feist named Sterling. They play constantly. being in a new environment, I anticipated a few accidents. NOPE. He's a good boy! He is leash trained and crate trained. Spike has been integrate with the remainder of the pack .... which range from 19 to 74 pounds. Only 1 of the 16 doesn't like Spike.....good average...95%. The vet determined Spike to be a "chiweenie" ...I still think he has Minature Pinscher and Chi in him. An application for Leo can be accessed on the home page of our web site at www.animal-angels.org OR call to make an appointment to visit at 803-627-3049.
