Lily's Story...
Lily came from a breeder and was surrendered with her brother. She is one year old and was quite timid upon arrival. She has since learned to trust her family and appreciate a warm lap! She is gentle with the 4 children in her foster homes and very respectful of her new kitty sisters. Lily now knows to walk on leash and is becoming braver everyday to approach new people. She has been trained to go potty outside but as this is new she will require a patient home that will continue her training. This sweet girl had not seen the outside world before she came into rescue but she is certainly liking all the new experiences! With some time and a soft handler Lily will be a remarkable and gentle new friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Welland Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Welland, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Welland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Welland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Welland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Welland paves the way for another one to be saved.
