My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lenny at 14 mos, 45lbs is busy guy who with regular exercise is an adorable, easy dog to own. He loves to play with other dogs and balls. This is what the fosters say:

Lenny. becomes a very relaxed puppy around the house. He is having a ball with our dog . When it is play time he does a happy dance for his toys and gets all excited to play. Lenny just requires an experienced owner for the smart, sneaky shepherd part of him who is willing to walk with him, throw a toy or ball in the house or backyard, all things that he absolutely loves to do, all things that keep this puppy happy and healthy. After some fun playtime, Lenny becomes a very calm and lovable foot dog. Lenny is doing great walking on a leash, he is able to be walked easily by all of our children aged 8 to 14. Lenny loves his walks, whether it be a casual stroll or a long hike with an avid walker. Nonetheless, Lenny is a great puppy, very lovable and fun to have in the house. Puppy patience will reward anyone who is willing to take home this great looking dog. Suggested solid 6 foot fence in your yard, this boy can jump so would be GREAT for agility training

Feb 22.13 Lenny, our 14mo old, 40lb bundle of puppy, went off to foster boot camp to learn some manners and get him ready for a home. This is what the fosters have to say:Lenny has been with us for a week now and is a very playful and outgoing puppy. Lenny has a lot of energy, of which a future adopter can easily burn by playing fetch with toys or balls, or walking or running at least once a day. Currently we walk twice a day, a mile and half in the morning and anywhere from two to four miles after dinner. We also play fetch with him usually before dinner which is very helpful in reducing the hyperness that he, like most puppies has, especially when he spends most of his day in his crate while the family is at work and school.Lenny is very friendly to all people, he loves our four children aging from 8 to 14, gets along great with our dog who is much bigger than him but that doesn’t stop him from wrestling around with her. He shows curiosity to our cat Oscar, he almost seems confused with him, he loves to chase around the house after him, but also keeps his distance as he knows if he gets too close that he will get a swat in the nose.Lenny is a wonderful dog, he is absolutely beautiful and loves to have his belly rubbed as much as possible. Yes, he does have high energy, and needs to be exercised to burn that energy, but other than that there is nothing but a great puppy for someone to adopt and take home. He is a very good listener as I stated, he responds wonderfully to the head of the house, even at his highest hyper moments. He is fully house trained, and eager to please any owner.Once you meet him, you will absolutely fall in love, he is absolutely adorable, we have been able to stop him from jumping up on you when you get home with the knee up technique, so now you are greeted with a very happy go lucky puppy with his tongue hanging out and tail a wagging’. He needs someone to adopt him and continue with the training that we have started, and continue to exercise him to help burn his energy, but I see nothing but happy times for the lucky person who adopts lil’ Lenny.
