Highway's Story...
Highway had a terrible start. He was hit by a car and left to die in the middle of a busy street. Poor Highway was so terrified and so much in pain he tried to move in pain to avoid being hit. Thankfully a man stopped to help Highway. Poor Highway had bruising, collapsed lungs and some sprains. After being in the vet for 2 days and recovery time with his foster who was actually the person that saved Highway.

Highway is sweet, great w/ kids, dogs and cats. Housebroken, loves to sleep in the bed with you. Loves to go on walks, happy boy.

He is about one year old and 12lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Highway, a New Milford Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
