Dolce is an adorable, sweet "Kissbull" girl who was rescued from the Carson shelter
over a year ago. She was in bad shape, having been thrown out of a moving car onto
the street. She had obviously been used as a breeder dog. She was still nursing when
she was discarded like trash while her un-weaned puppies were sold on the street.
She was rescued from the shelter and generous donors paid for vet care and sent her
to to a 4 week board and train program. She has been in several foster homes but has
yet to find her perfect forever home. Dolce walks very well on leash and knows her
commands: Sit, Heel, Down, and Stay. She LOVES to play ball as you will see in her video.
She is very affectionate and good with most dogs when properly introduced but prefers mellow, easy going dogs of any size but would also be fine as an only dog. We think Dolce would do better in a home without kids because she is quite strong and very enthusiastically affectionate so it's possible she could inadvertently knock a child over upon greeting. Though we think Dolce may be ok with cats, we are not sure so for now we're saying "no cats" to err on the side of caution.
Dolce is approximately 3 to 4 years old, spayed. microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. She needs a home that will give her the exercise and attention and loving leadership she deserves. She also loves just hanging out at in the house with her people. She can be very mellow inside and settle down nicely once she gets the exercise she needs.
