Sadie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sadie's Story...
I am such a perfect dog that it is hard to believe I was out on the street unaltered and full of heartworms (all that's been taken care of!). I am totally and completely sweet, loving and loyal. Have absolutely perfect manners (crate trained, housetrained) and behave just the way I should. I am a quiet girl that does not have to have a dog partner but having one would be fine. I am gentle enough for kids and cats. I like to lounge in the sun and then snuggle on the sofa. I am going to make someone life's very complete when they adopt me! My edob is 2/11 and I weigh in at 40 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Houston Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
