Pixie's Story...
Pixie is a 8-9 year old American Eskimo X. She is spayed, micro-chipped, house trained, crate trained, knows many different tricks and has spontaneous bursts of energy where she does something whacky that makes you laugh out loud. Pixie loves her walks (her nose usually leads the way!) and loves to just chill beside you while you are watching tv or reading a book. She is good with other dogs, we have never met a cat, but from her reaction of seeing them on the tv, I don’t think she likes them. Pixie is very loving and relaxed and thoroughly enjoys belly rubs and treats. Pixie is very low maintenance and would do great in any household that would love and care for her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a Saskatoon American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
