Tucker's Story...
Tucker is a very sweet, gentle and cuddly 3-4 year old yellow lab. He loves to be with his people and gets along very well with other dogs. He enjoys playing at the dog park and learning new stuff, he is always eager to please. He already knows how to sit and is currently working on recall and learning to lay “down” and “wait” until he gets the “ok” before digging into his food. He is crate trained and does very well in the crate. He even knows that “bedtime” means it is time to enter the crate...and to get a cookie of course. Tucker is so excited to find his forever home, his charming personality is sure to win over a lucky forever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Saskatoon Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
