My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

World, meet Jack! He may be 10 years old but he is full of life, although we do not know how exactly life has treated him. We originally rescued him 10 years ago as a puppy. The sweetest pup one could meet. He came from a place that the authorities had tried to shut down for a long time, surrounded by controversy. We got him out, along with a few other dogs like him. Jack was adopted out in the Calgary area and must have had a good life. But recently we got a call from an animal shelter in Grande Prairie saying that Jack had turned up there. No one could track down his adoptive family, no one had reported him missing. We have no idea how Jack got from Calgary to Grande Prairie, but we went to his rescue again and flew him back to us, where we knew he would be safe.
He is friendly, well socialized and respects other dogs and cats. He loves to play ball, retrieves it and drops it in front of your feet for you to throw again. His age only shows in a way that he has these lumps and bumps older dogs get right under the skin, but they are of no health concern. Although he is small, he seems to be a guy’s dog who just loves to play ball with men or lay at their feet watching TV. He is looking for a partner, this time for the rest of his life!
