Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Copper, a 9 week old lab mix who currently weighs 14 pounds. Copper and his siblings were born in a deserted mine shaft in Kentucky. Someone saw them and called a local rescue group, whose volunteers crawled through mud and water to bring the pups out. The rescue group even got a picture of their mom, who looks like a yellow lab.
Copper is an outgoing, very even-tempered pup who loves people as well as playing with other dogs. Like his siblings, he is eager for human attention and affection. Copper is paper-trained and on his way to being house-broken.
From the looks of his paws Copper will be a large dog when fully grown, but of course we don't know for sure. Since he's so young, Copper needs a family where someone is home part or all day to finish his potty-training as well as keep him exercised and socialized.
Copper's adoption fee of $335 includes: vet exam, DHAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, flea & tick preventative, deworming, microchip and neuter.
