My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sandy arrived on 3/28, so we are just getting to know her, but so far she seems to be a very nice dog. She is clean and quiet in her kennel, loves to go for walks and is interested in everything around her. We have been told she was protective of food with kids, but she has been absolutely fine with our volunteers.
Miniature Pinschers are great dogs for experienced owners. Here's what Wikipedia says about them: "Miniature Pinschers are for experienced dog owners. The Miniature Pinscher is an assertive, outgoing, active and independent breed. Miniature Pinschers are energetic and need a fenced in yard to run in; they make great agility dogs."

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application. Our dog adoption fee is $350. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash and a month's worth of heartworm preventative.

With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have one employee. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.
