Daisy's Story...
How cute are Daisy's freckles??? She is a shy, lovable, affectionate little girl who came into the shelter with her brother Gatsby. Daisy needs some socialization, training and lots of TLC. She is at first very timid, but does warm up after a few minutes and then her long tail will be wagging wildly! She would do best with an experienced owner and does like the company of other dogs.Daisy is about 5 months old. For more information, please contact savak9@sbcglobal.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Sacramento Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
