Lennard's Story...
Lennard is a beautiful golden-eyed 9 month old tabby who was rescued from a kind neighbour's garden, after whom he was named. He was feral when taken in and has been given much love and care along with his brother Lincoln to become the sweet, gentle, mischievious boy he is. The brothers were rescued weeks apart and so were very happy to be reunited, never to be separated again! Lennard loves playing in boxes (he's never met a box he doesn't love!) and is hoping for a gold medal in gymnastics at the next feline olympics! He also loves to snuggle on your lap with his favourite blanket. Both boys love other cats. Lennard needs to go to a loving home with his brother to a family who will be patient in allowing the brothers to come to trust them at their own pace. If you give these boys a chance, you will be rewarded with much love and laughter at their antics

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lennard, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
