Nelson is approx 3 months old and seems to be full blooded cocker spaniel. Someone forgot to dock his tail but hes so glad cuz it gives him more to wag and let everyone know how happy he is to see them. He never meets a stranger and gets along with all the other foster buddies. He was so proud to go to the groomers and get a new hair do and was proud to show it off. He has been neutered, has all shots and is on heartworm and flea prevention. Now all he needs is a home all his own. His adoption fee is 400.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nelson, a Hartford Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
