Rascal's Story...
Rascal is a 2-3yr. old Blue male Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. Rascal was rescued from a horrible situation tied-up in Clovis, starving and sick. Rascal is THE most loving dog to people that you will meet, his whole rear-end wiggles violently when you come near - he's so happy to see you.

Rascal had some problems with the resident Dobermans back when he was first rescued, but has been socialized to where he gets along well with large and small dogs, though he is still protective of food such that he cannot be trusted to share things with other dogs, so toys and bones have to be given in times of separation. He is always nearby and wants to be touched but has learned to use the dog door, is crate trained and will sit, lie down, and is very attentive in trying to please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal, a Albuquerque Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Albuquerque, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Albuquerque.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albuquerque already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albuquerque breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albuquerque paves the way for another one to be saved.
