Charity's Story...
Hi! My name is Charity and I am looking for a loving furever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico. My foster family who lives in Merrick thinks I am the sweetest dog in the world :)). I love everyone - their dogs, cats, kids and all people. I love playing with the other dogs and sleeping in bed with my human foster sister. I am about 7 months old, spayed, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. I am about 18 lbs and full grown will be about 25 lbs. If you are interested in meeting me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Charity :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charity, a Brooklyn Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
