Wilson's Story...
Calm. Quiet. Snuggler
Mr. Wilson is an aprox. 9 year old male poodle who was found horribly matted and in poor shape by animal control. After Wilson was hold the required number of days it became clear no one was looking for him and he needed some help. Because of a few bad teeth and his poor hair coat rescue was his best option, and we were happy to help! Mr. Wilson got his dental and was neutered and is ready for a great home. His bloodwork is all normal- meaning that he is in good shape on the inside for a 9 year old. His badly matted coat was shaved off and is starting to grow back, his teeth have been cleaned up and the few bad ones removed, and now all he needs is a new home with a fresh start!
Wilson is a bit up there in age, but could have another 10 great years with somoene! He is housebroken and crate trained, good with dogs and cats, and kids! He is a calm and quiet dog that loves to snuggle.
He is neutered, HW neg, UTD on shots, had a dental, microchipped, and fully vetted. His adoption fee is $230

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilson, a Lancaster Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
