THIS IS PIEPER....and there aren't enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe her! She is a gold w/ black mask, 2 yr old, 12 lb (underweight) Lhasa/Silky mix? She doesn't have the body of a Lhasa, as she is a bit delicate, but she can be anything you want her to be. When I saw her picture at the shelter I went bonkers. Her hair was long, but very matted -- she came from Devore, so who knows what her previous life was like. My guess is someone didn't have the time for her because she craves love and attention. She loves to play, she loves to follow her person everywhere, she LOVES bones and chewies, she loves to give lots and lots and LOTS of kisses. She would be best in a home that is active because she is active and loves to run around. Another dog should also be there to play with her so that she has a companion besides you!! A yard should be in her future...and kids too (over 8 please because sometimes when she kisses she nips your nose!). She is NOT a barker, she is learning potty training skills and while she needs training, she is just a charmer. She loves to be held and she will give you back 100x the love you give her. This is not a dog for a senior home as she really is under foot and could trip you. She is very smart, if I could keep her, I would. Pieper is a phenomenal dog....

Most Sundays, unless we are doing a special event, we are at Westfield Century City Mall from 12p-4pm behind the Concierge Booth near Brooks Bros. Park in the Orange Section in the parking structure and come up the escallator and follow the signage. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!!
