Mala's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Mala's Story...
This is Marla. She is 1 Year old. DOB 2/10/12, Best guess as she was dumped at a shelter when she was a pup. Her adopter had to give her up when she moved. Marla is awesome with kids, babies and adults. She is housebroken but still needs a potty pad out until she has a routine. I'm pretty sure she has Basenji in her but not sure what other breed. She both yodels and barks. She weighs 18 pounds and loves to be with her humans. She is very playful and intelligent. She learns quickly. She does not chew or dig and is happy to play outside by herself as long as its not all day. At night she is happy to sleep in her crate( at least until she learns what u want her to do). She needs to be an only pet as she is a great hunter and a great protector. She is spayed and UTD with vaccinations. FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT SHELIA 520-255-1445

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mala, a Sierra Vista Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji for sale in Sierra Vista, or seeking a Basenji dog from a breeder in Sierra Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sierra Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sierra Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji breeders who help with Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sierra Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
