MARKIE's Story...
MARKIE is a little sweetheart. I'm not sure what her breed is but she looks like a little miniature Shepherd/Feist mix. She won't be very big - she's 11 weeks old & weighs about 8 pounds. She is very friendly, happy, good natured, sweet & loves everybody she sees. She showed up on the steps of a local doctor's clinic & the nurse called to see if we could take her into our Rescue program. Markie will be spayed on April 10th & will be ready to travel a few days later. She is current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm & flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $400

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MARKIE, a Humboldt Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Feist puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Feist for sale in Humboldt, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Feist puppy from a breeder in Humboldt.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Humboldt already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Humboldt breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Feist breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Humboldt paves the way for another one to be saved.
