My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopted January 2014; unavailable. Original bio below:

Corky is a 6 year old, 18 lb. Yorkshire Terrier male. Yes, that's 18 lbs. The breed originally was 12-15 lbs; they were working dogs who killed vermin in mines. Yorkies are excellent little hunters. Corky is a happy, sweet dog. He's neutered, current on vaccines, & is 100% potty trained (outdoors). He's good with other dogs & older children. He knows how to walk on a leash & enjoys going for walks. Corky is good about grooming & having his nails trimmed, too. He's devoted to his humans & loves to hang out with them. He's easy-going & is very happy to just spend time with his family. NO small/young children in his permanent home. He's an excellent choice for an all adult home or a family with older children (10 years & up) who have experience with small dogs & know how to properly treat them. If you have the right type of home for this handsome male, email us at 1yorkiesrescue@gmail.com for an adoption application. Thank you for choosing to adopt a homeless dog & save a life!
