Name: Daisy
DOB: ~ 7/1/12
Breed/Color: DSH, Lynx Point
Temperament: Sweet, Affectionate, Playful
Good with Cats: Yes
Good with Dogs: Yes (Has been around small dogs only)
Good with Kids: Yes
Other: Daisy is a sweet and playful girl. She enjoys affection and does like to cuddle. She loves to play, but is not overly energetic (i.e. not continually looking for trouble). She loves her "brother" Bart and snuggles with him every day. She is not a big talker. Daisy was raised in a home with boisterous children and is used to a lot of handling by kids. She is very tolerant of them. She has been around small dogs and doesn't mind them, as long as they don't chase her. This gorgeous girl would like to be adopted with her best friend Bartholomew. They have grown up together and enjoy each other's company. Who could resist this adorable pair?
Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Daisy's adoption fee is $160 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.

Currently, Daisy is hanging out at the Adopt-A-Pet Shop in Plymouth, MN- stop by and say hello!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Eagan Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Eagan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Eagan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eagan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eagan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eagan paves the way for another one to be saved.
